Lesson 5 of 10
Run a pursuit: pipeline, workstreams, the buying-group map
From a name scribbled after a call to a deal signing next week — this is where every opportunity you are working lives, board and forecast both, and the plan for each one.
Pipeline
Try it nowYour work → Pipeline in the menu.
What you do
- Work the board: drag an opportunity between stages as it moves.
- Press any card to open that opportunity's plan in place — the board folds away and the plan fills the space. There is no separate screen for it.
- On a deal that has been worked, read where it stands and the last things that actually happened on it, before the suggested moves underneath.
- Switch between the three views beside the title — Board, Table and Forecast. Forecast is the money: the totals, the gauge and the pace against your target.
- Look at the first column of the board, before the first stage: the target accounts you have no opportunity against at all. Drag one out of it and you have started a deal.
- Read the line above the board counting how many of your targets are covered — the headline your CRM cannot produce.
